How hobbies influence our identity?
Do you think that anyone should have a kind of hobby which could take him the bigger part of his or her life? According to many scientists, especially psychologists, it is important that people have something apart from work and home. And this something, mainly occurs to be hobby. This is something what gives us a lot of satisfaction and constitutes our interests. Without something which could be treated by people as something very private and belonging only to them – this is something what constitutes our identity. Researches show that this what we treat as our hobby helps us in building our view on our own personality traits. And this is always something on which we built many different stereotypes. For example, those who like books are treated as boring people who have wide knowledge. I work in a bigger company and I take care of email marketing software comparison and my job is recently new so there are not many stereotypes connected with it. This is why I am not associated with any specific group by people who are informed about my job.
